PART 1
PART 2
At Disneyland
Alien Pizza Planet
Alien Macarooooon
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Alien Macarooooon ($7.99) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features salted caramel buttercream with chocolate ganache and chocolate brownie bites. These are always satisfying and this is no different. If you can get past the electric green color you’re in for a treat!
Cheeseburger Pizza Slice
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Cheeseburger Pizza Slice ($9.49) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features burger patties, pickles, American & cheddar cheese blend, ketchup tomato sauce, and mustard on a sesame seed pizza crust drizzled with house sauce. We had this when it first debuted at 2018 Pixar Fest and we love it no just like we loved it then! It is surprisingly more delicious than it sounds… or looks!
Cosmic Chili Pasta
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Cosmic Chili Pasta ($12.49) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features jalapeño-cheddar pinwheel pasta topped with spiced chili, crushed corn chips, and green onions. For the price we’d probably opt for one of the other pasta dishes at this location. The overall flavors were good but a little monotone. The Fritos on topped help break up the one-note texture/flavor party.
More to Try
- Green Drink inspired by “Toy Story”: Alien-inspired punch made with pineapple juice, ginger beer, Lemon-Lime Powerade with lemon sorbet and a splash of vanilla served with lychee popping pearls (Non-alcoholic Beverage) (New)
Carnation Café
Fried Bologna Sandwich
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Fried Bologna Sandwich ($18) is inspired by “Up” and features Fried bologna, Monterey Jack, mustard, and mayo on white bread served with house-made chips, cinnamon apples, and a pickle spear. This is technically a repeat from 2018 Pixar Fest but the components have been changed so much that the once must-try dish is now hardly worth a mention at all today.
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor
Eye Scream Cone
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Eye Scream Cone ($9.29) is inspired by “Monsters, Inc” and features a scoop of pistachio ice cream dipped in green chocolate, garnished with a candy eye and horns. Top marks for presentation and flavor. This is so simple and it’s delicious! But it’s also messy so make sure to pick up some napkins!
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
“Silenzio Bruno!” Sandwich
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫
“Silenzio Bruno!” Sandwich ($14.99) is inspired by “Luca” and features chopped ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, and pepperoncini with Italian dressing served in an Italian roll with house-made chips. There’s nothing fancy going on here but in a long line of decent sandwiches for this location this one stacks up with the rest.
More to Try
- Sea Monster Friends Parfait inspired by “Luca”: Layers of graham cracker crumbs, mascarpone cheesecake, berry blue gelatin, and blue Chantilly topped with a Luca chocolate decoration (New)
Plaza Inn
Pixar Fest Cake
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫
Pixar Fest Cake ($7.29) features layers of yellow, blue, and red vanilla sponge cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate Pixar Ball decoration. If vanilla on vanilla with vanilla is your jam then this dish will leave you satisfied. No surprises with this one.
Refreshment Corner
BBQ Potato Dog
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
BBQ Potato Dog ($15.49) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features smoked sausage, BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, fried onions, and green onions served in a baked potato. This is a fun concept and it’s loaded with strong flavors from the smokey sausage to the sweet and savory pulled pork. The potato was also cooked perfectly.
The Tropical Hideaway
Pineapple Coconut Float
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Pineapple Coconut Float ($9.29) is inspired by “Lava” and is a non-alcoholic beverage that features blue DOLE Pineapple-Coconut Juice topped with DOLE Whip soft serve, strawberry lava, and a gummy. It’s so sweet but so so satisfying. We had it for breakfast and it felt so… right? Only at Disneyland!
Troubadour Tavern
Lotso Berry Lemonade
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Lotso Berry Lemonade ($9.99) is inspired by “Toy Story” and is a non-alcoholic beverage that features strawberry-flavored lemonade with sweet cream topper and an Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar. At first glance, spending $10 on a non-alcoholic drink sounds absurd (and it is) but this has got a whole popsicle in it making it a dessert and a drink. And honestly? This might just be best of the entire fest. Don’t sleep on this one, it’s a winner!
Roundup BBQ Potato
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Roundup BBQ Potato ($11.49) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features brisket burnt ends tossed in Coca-Cola BBQ sauce, creamy slaw, pickle spear, and onion-flavored snacks. This is a backyard summer barbecue all rolled into one with a bunch of flavors that all work together to form a tasty tasty meal or snack. Definitely recommend giving this one a try!
Una Papa Loca!
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫
Una Papa Loca! ($10.49) is inspired by “Coco” and features chicken al pastor, cheese, avocado salsa, and sour cream topped with onion and cilantro with spiced corn chip crumble. We were hoping to love this more but the pieces of chicken were puzzlingly so very very small and the cold avocado and sour cream made the dish colder than it should have been.
Firetown Mac & Cheese Bites
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Firetown Mac & Cheese Bites ($11.49) are inspired by “Elemental” and feature fried gouda mac and cheese bites tossed in four-chile rub. We had really really high hopes for this and, while tasty, the dish is very one-note. The mac and cheese is creamy and tasty and the crispy batter is spicy and satisfying. Plus, you do get a bunch of these bites. So what goes wrong? It’s just the monotony of the dish. If it had been served with a sauce — perhaps a fiery sweet glaze, buffalo sauce, or even just ranch this would have been stellar. They have sauces available at an extra cost — GET ONE.
Adventure is Out There! Cold Brew
RATING: ☀️⚫⚫⚫⚫
Adventure is Out There! Cold Brew ($6.79) is inspired by “Up” and is a non-alcoholic beverage that features dark chocolate cold brew with butterscotch topper, wafer cookie, and confetti quins. This drink continues in a disappointingly long line of terrible cold brews to come from Disney. Disney’s track record is spotty at best as their cold brew drinks tend to be bitter at best or — as was the case of this one — sour at worst. Sour coffee?? The delicious sweet cream did nothing to save this mess. We ended up tossing it and even bad drinks still usually end up at least being drinkable. Skip it.

At Disney California Adventure
Cozy Cone Motel 3 – Chili Cone Queso
Luigi & Guido Cone
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Luigi & Guido Cone ($10.99) is inspired by “Cars” and features cheese tortellini, pomodoro sauce, and mozzarella topped with basil panko and served in a bread cone. Despite the pasta being a bit overcooked for our tastes, the flavors here are top notch and the garlicky crumble on top makes this a must-try!
Flo’s V8 Cafe
Dinoco Blue Cheeseburger
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Dinoco Blue Cheeseburger ($15.99) is inspired by “Cars” and features angus beef & mushroom patty with blueberry compote, blue cheese crumbles, red onion, bacon, tomato, arugula, and lemon aioli. There is a lot of flavors going on here and this is a fun and satisfying option.
Racing Radial Cake
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Racing Radial Cake ($7.29) is inspired by “Cars” and features chocolate cake filled with red cheesecake covered in dark chocolate glaze with a silver hub cap. The cake itself is light and airy, the red cheesecake in the center provides a nice contrast.
Magic Key Terrace
Luca Seafood Pasta
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Luca Seafood Pasta ($32.00) is inspired by “Luca” and features grilled prawns, clams, Spanish chorizo, spicy white wine tomato sauce, pappardelle pasta, mustard frills, and charred lemon half. As one of the most expensive dishes at Pixar Fest, it certainly earns its weight. This is a rich flavor-packed dish that does not disappoint and definitely delivers on the spice.
Recuerdame at Paradise Garden Grill
Huarache
RATING: ☀️⚫⚫⚫⚫
Huarache ($12.99) features soy chorizo beans and seasoned steak tips topped with lettuce, cheese, avocado crema, and tomatillo salsa and served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with a nopales pico de gallo. The huarache shell is the most disappointing part here but everything else tastes great.
Street-style Watermelon
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Street-style Watermelon ($6.99) with lime juice, chile-lime seasoning and chamoy. This is a straight forward option and it’s satisfying to get a giant wedge of watermelon but for the price you’re probably better off trying something else!

Shake 2319
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Shake 2319 ($9.79) is inspired by “Monsters, Inc.” and features vanilla, orange, guava and pineapple shake with shaved coconut, whipped topping, and an orange cone. This is a non-alcoholic beverage and it brings a great blend of tropical flavors. It’s meant to look like George Sanderson who famously had code 2319 called on him several times in Monster’s Inc.
Sonoma Terrace
Pesto Chicken Handheld Pie
RATING: ☀️⚫⚫⚫⚫
Pesto Chicken Handheld Pie ($10.00) is inspired by “Toy Story” and features a puff pastry filled with grilled chicken, pesto ricotta & mozzarella blend, and caramelized onions served with a spicy marinara dipping sauce. The flavors here are nice and this is a straight forward choice offering an easy on-the-go option.
