You can always count on Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to go all out for every holiday and celebration at the Disneyland Resort and now the popular lodging destination is celebrating the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration with a festive confectionery.

About the Confectionery

The edible work of art centers in on Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Clarabelle, and Pluto as they soak up the great outdoors on a camping trip celebrating the new Donald’s Tales of Adventure character dining at Storyteller’s Cafe! OF course, you can expect to find several hidden Mickeys if you look closely!

The rustic edible was created by the Disney’s in-house culinary team from edible ingredients and took over 400 hours to complete. Some of the stats for this candy confection:

  • 80 pounds of crisped rice cereal
  • 80 pounds of powdered sugar
  • 60 pounds of fondant
  • 40 pounds of white chocolate
  • 25 pounds of marshmallows
  • 18 pounds of egg whites
  • And more!
