Without revealing much on the details, Downtown Disney has provided an update on the highly-anticipated Porto’s expansion coming to the popular shopping and entertainment district at the Disneyland Resort.
Here’s what we know so far about Porto’s coming to Downtown Disney.
A beloved Southern California bakery, Porto’s was founded by Rosa Porto, who started selling cakes in Cuba before opening her first shop in Echo Park (1976). It’s known for delicious, affordable Cuban-inspired baked goods and snacks. The latest expansion is taking over the former La Brea Bakery (and then some) with a new space featuring two separate concepts.
- Bakery and Café will be available for those looking for signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls and other favorite goodies
- There will also be a first-ever Porto’s location with sit-down table service and a full bar although details are light on what to expect here for now.
