Ebenezer Scrooge in this version of the story is still the miserable penny-pinching miser of lore but with a Ghost Town twist, he embarks on a familiar journey with the ghosts of Calico Christmas to discover the true meaning of the holiday.

How to Watch

A Calico Christmas Carol runs for approximately 35 minutes and is performed at the Bird Cage Theatre. While it is not necessarily in high demand with most guests in the park, limited capacity for the small venue does mean that showings can and will likely fill up.

Doors open roughly a half hour before showtime but there’s no need to arrive more than about 20 to 30 minutes early unless you are particular about where you sit in the theater. This is an intimate venue so even the farthest seat in the house is still pretty decent.

Typical showtimes are 12:45 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:45 pm during the Knott’s Merry Farm season but always check the app for showtimes on the day of your visit. The show may be dark on week days or have fewer showtimes.
