Originally targeted for completion on Memorial Day weekend, Camp Snoopy is now ready for a (nearly complete) reopen starting June 27, 2024 at Knott’s Berry Farm.
The revamped Camp Snoopy promises a new family rollercoaster, a giant swing, off-road rally, plus new character experiences, and interactive camp-tivities
What to Expect
Join Beagle Scout Master Snoopy and the entire Peanuts crew for the annual Camp’ Snoopy Jamboree — a fun week of camp competitions and activities. New scouts can begin their adventure at any of the four new or reimagined rides debuting at the High Sierra summer camp.
For its grand re-opening the land will feature:
Attractions
Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster
- Head to Beagle Scout Headquarters where Beagle Scout Master Snoopy and his troop will take guests on a new first coaster experience through the forest
- The family coaster will feature a lift hill and pint-sized launch with fun twists and turns
- The experience is being built to give riders the opportunity to ride twice
Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally
- Replacing the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company, this reimagining of the attraction features colorful four-wheel jeeps — each themed to Snoopy or a Peanuts character
- The attraction will include an expanded track and updated terrain in a race to the finish line
- The experience promises funny road signs and obstacles to go over, around, and under
- Success is measured not by speed but by how many course checkpoints can be found
Beagle Express
- A scenic journey throughout Camp Snoopy aboard this newly upgraded locomotive ride through a series of camp vignettes,
- Cross over a covered bridge, watch as Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang prepare for the jamboree events
- Campers along the route will be found decorating their cabins for a “Best Cabin” contest and getting ready for potato sack races and more
Sally’s Swing Along
- A new experience with a super-sized swing set is big enough for the entire Peanuts gang
- Kids and parents can sit side-by-side on the giant bench swing and glide 10 feet toward the sky
Meet-and-Greets
- Get some face time with favorites including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Pigpen, Sally, Marcie and, of course, Snoopy at varying times and locations daily.
Dining
Grizzly Lodge
- The popular dining location will be updated with new décor and menu items plus new family restrooms
Shopping
Snoopy Camp Store
- The immersive store will feature all the essentials needed for camp
