Fantasmic! is making its triumphant return this week at Disneyland following a devastating fire that took out the show’s iconic original ending. When the show officially awakens this Friday, the finale will still feature Maleficent but no dragon. A few new surprises are also packed in including the return of Peter Pan aboard the Sailing Ship Columbia.

Below are some of the details shared by the LA Times.

Todd Martens shared the scoop including confirmation that the 45-foot tall dragon animatronic would not be returning. Instead, an extended version of the former B-mode for the show utilizing Maleficent staying on stage will be seen instead. This B-mode now-turned A-mode has been plussed with additional projection mapping, pyrotechnics, and fire effects to augment the 35-foot high sorceress.

Fans of the original 1992 version of the show will also be excited to know that Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and all the Lost Boys are returning to the Sailing Ship Columbia, replacing the 2017 addition of a Pirates of the Caribbean segment.
