Over the past few days, Disney has offered a few sneak peeks into the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World and we’re taking a closer look at the photos and video released of the attraction’s interiors!

The latest official storyline for Tiana’s Bayou Bash outlines the plot pretty thoroughly:
This is a new chapter for Tiana as she grows her business and as a thank you to her community for their support, she’s throwing a party during Mardi Gras season. When it turns out there’s been a mix up in the preparations and she’s missing a band, Tiana invites us on a journey through the bayou discovering both friends familiar and anew for this last ingredient – musical critters!
After the thrilling drop, you’ll soon approach Tiana and friends at her mansion, where Louis conducts a jazz band filled with all the critters we met on our journey. They play “Special Spice” along with Prince Naveen playing his ukulele and Prince Ralphie the drums. We’ve discovered the “Special Spice” making this joyful, one-of-a-kind celebration complete is in fact YOU. The melody continues as we approach Mama Odie, who acknowledges that this party wouldn’t be what it is without you.
Shrinking Scene
What the new storylines released so far don’t mention is that the thrilling middle portion of the attraction that was formerly pretty dark has been given a story purpose that sees guests in their logs be shrunk down to the size of frogs! In one particular scene you can see guests surrounded by larger than life flora and fauna in the bayou plus a screen showing a very large face of princess Tiana.
Based on what we’ve seen so far it looks like that thrilling drop in the middle of the attraction is being used as the transition scene to shrink you down and then the final life hill for the attraction is your transformation back to normal size.
Goin’ Down the Bayou
Before that though, there’s a journey through the Bayou where Tiana, Louis the alligator, Naveen and a cast of a bunch playful musical critters can be found.
The Grand Finale
And of course, the whole thing ends with a party at Fleur de Bayou which is the mansion home of Tiana and Naveen which suspiciously looks quite a bit like the building that houses the entrance for Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean.
Tiana, Naveen, Louis, Eudora, Charlotte and a whole bunch more critters are seen in the colorful finale while screens pulling double duty as windows showcase even more characters including Naveen’s parents, and plenty more guests. Mama Odie says a final farewell before you round you way back to the loading station.
