A perfect Disney day is usually capped by a nighttime spectacle as a kiss goodnight and 2024 Pixar Fest delivers with the return of Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. The nightly projection show features a soundtrack fueled by the iconic tunes from the library Pixar Animation Studios films and is enhanced on select evenings with fireworks.
Here’s everything you need to know about Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland for 2024 Pixar Fest.
About the Show
The most important thing to know about Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular is that it’s not exclusively billed as a fireworks show. That’s because on some nights the show is presented with only projection and light effects. If you want to see the full experience with fireworks you will want to make sure to check the Disneyland app or the official Entertainment Schedule for the day of your visit. In general, the show is presented with fireworks on weekdays and when inclement weather forces the cancellation of fireworks.
With or without fireworks, the 12-minute show is a fun, funny, and emotional tribute to 30 years of Pixar cinematic magic featuring iconic music and unforgettable moments including Buzz Lightyear falling with style flying across the sky and Carl Fredricksen’s entire house floats over Sleeping Beauty Castle thanks to his iconic balloons. The show has also been updated to include the newest Pixar films including TURNING RED, LUCA, SOUL, ONWARD, and ELEMENTAL.

How to Watch
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular takes place at Disneyland and can be seen from several viewing areas in the park, and from several more areas in the park when fireworks are presented. For the best view, you’re going to want to check out the show from the four main viewing areas (Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, USA, in front of “its a small world,” or along the Rivers of America) where projections and other effects are presented.
Showtimes are usually 9:30pm each evening during Pixar Fest. However, times are always subject to change so check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit for the most accurate information.

Full Show (2024)
Don’t worry about scoring a great spot, check out our full video of Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular (with fireworks) below from all the four main viewing areas!
From Sleeping Beauty Castle
Viewing from Sleeping Beauty Castle will take the most coordination — mainly in time. On most nights, you will want to show up at least an hour and a half before showtime to stake your claim to your best view.
It’s important to know that approximately a half hour (or so) before showtime, Cast Members will ask all guests in front of the castle to stand up. When this happens, there is a great guestonic shift (we just made up a word there) with people moving, shifting, and giving you the opportunity get a slightly better view.
From Main Street, USA!
There are special effects all around you on Main Street with projections on most facades plus a special enhancement during the “Coco” segment that you can only experience on Main Street. To watch from here, you’ll want to stake out your spot at least an hour before showtime but if you’re not picky you can usually find space a lot closer to showtime, as well.
From Rivers of America
It’s easy to get a great spot to watch the fireworks from here but it does require careful coordination. There is not a lot of competition to watch the show from this area (even though they do use the Fantasmic mist screens to supplement the show with projections.) You will want to head over to this area (we recommend coming in from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on the Critter Country side of the park) close to (or at) the end of the first Fantasmic! which usually ends about 5 minutes before the start of the fireworks.
The area will be full of guests who have just watched Fantasmic! but a large number of people will be leaving offering the chance to swoop in. As a bonus, if you get a spot for the fireworks that’s in a Fantasmic viewing area (that’s NOT reserved for dining package guests), then you can also stay there for the night’s second performance of Fantasmic! which will usually start approximately 45 minutes after the fireworks.
From “it’s a small world”
Depending on the weather conditions, viewing of the show will usually be right in front of the facade for “it’s a small world” which is a really nice way to watch the show. There’s often a few benches that might be available here which you will want to stake out at least an hour and a half in advance. Otherwise, showing up to this area closer to showtime will usually also afford a decent view.
However, weather conditions may close the area immediately in front of the attraction for fireworks viewing and instead you will only be able to get as close as walkway leading up to “it’s a small world” which is decidedly much less desirable as the projections on the facade get increasingly difficult to see the further back you get.
