The fan-favorite Knott’s Boysenberry Festival returns next month and while Disney aims to dominate headlines this weekend with their own festival, the original Buena Park berry place is hoping to make you hungry for even more. During a hosted media event, MouseInfo had the chance to preview many of the upcoming dishes ahead of the official launch of the event on March 8.

We’ll have a more in-depth look at the festival later but for now here’s a quick look at what’s coming for the 2024 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival.

Boysenberry Collectible Sipper

Disney has been crushing it lately with their novelty items commemorating various holidays and festivals and Knott’s Berry Farm is getting in on the  game. A perfectly purple Boysenberry Collectible Sipper will be available at select locations around the park and you can get it filled with either an ICEE (yes they have boysenberry flavor) or a Berry Smoothie.

Knott’s Festival Tasting Card

If you’re looking to try a bunch of items during the festival, the 2024 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card might be best way to go. You’ll get to taste your way through a choice of six different items (including alcoholic beverages) from participating locations.

• Online Price: $55+ tax + processing fee ($60.25)
• In-Person Price: $58 + tax ($62.50)

Sticker Shock!

If you’re used to Disney’s California Adventure Food and Wine Festival where you get 8 tastings instead of 6, you might be wondering why the price here is so much higher and that’s because the Knott’s Tasting Card does allow you to get sample-sized versions of the various alcoholic beverages around the festival. Also, in most instances, the portions for Knott’s items are typically entree-sized whereas Disney promises tasting-sized portions.

We really wish a food-only version (at a lower cost) was available as the higher price tag almost makes you feel like you need to get alcohol to feel like you’re getting the value out of your Tasting Card. Still, menu items range between $10 and $20 so you are likely still coming out on top with the Tasting Card if you are planning to enjoy more than one or two items during the event.
