In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, Disney is getting ready to paint the town down in New Orleans with a spectacular member event that promises food, fun, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Bash attraction.

  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney Parks: Adding to the flavors of this festive celebration, how’s this for a dash of spice? Guests of this event will get a peek at what’s cooking with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort later this year. At a specially curated presentation, you’ll discover new ingredients at play from Walt Disney Imagineering, detailing the impeccable research, collaboration, and creative development that is bringing elements of the real-life magic from New Orleans to this exciting attraction. It’s going to be a can’t-miss deep dive into what fans can anticipate from this new adventure with Tiana, Naveen, and a whole bayou of friends, both new and familiar!

  • “Disney Down in New Orleans” with the Walt Disney Archives: Join Rebecca Cline, director of the Walt Disney Archives, as she ventures through The Walt Disney Company’s storied history with the dazzling city of New Orleans. The crescent city first made its magical mark on Walt Disney himself, and later on countless Disney Parks, attractions, songs, and films. This special presentation celebrates decades of these shared stories, which brought us everything from Haunted Mansions to swashbuckling pirates and jazzy gators.

  • A Special Appearance from Keith David (Voice of Dr. Facilier): You’re in our world now, not your world-and we’ve got some friends on the other side… like the talented voice behind the fabulous Dr. Facilier: Keith David! D23 is thrilled to make your wildest dreams come true, with the chance to hear from David as he reflects on bringing the villainous shadow man to life! We hope you’ll be satisfied, but if you ain’t, don’t blame us… you can blame our friends on the other side!
  • D23 “Dreams Do Come True” Grand Finale at the New Orleans Jazz Museum: “Grab somebody, come on down! Bring your paintbrush, we’re painting the town!” Guests will journey on down to the New Orleans Jazz Museum for a taste of the food and the music of the Big Easy! You better believe this celebration is going to taste as good as it looks! Guests can sample from an array of locally inspired cuisine featuring creole classics like Mini Muffulettas, Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee and of course some man-catching beignets!
    • The New Orleans Jazz Museum is a treasure-trove of history and culture, recounting the conception of jazz in New Orleans and its impact on the world over. You’ve heard of Louis Armstrong? Mister Sidney Bechet? All those boys and their instruments live on in the exemplary exhibits of this Museum! Speaking of which, the magic of music will be flowing forth like the mighty Mississippi, as guests will enjoy a few more dreams coming true throughout the night-with live New Orleans jazz performances, other musical entertainment, and a few sensational surprises sprinkled throughout. You never know who might stop in! We’ve got a few friends on the other side…
  • The Princess and the Frog – D23 15th Anniversary Screening Experience: To kick off a fabulous adventure in that “South Land city, way down on the river,” guests can enjoy an exclusive theatrical screening of the animated classic during its anniversary year! This exciting screening experience will feature a specially curated pre-show celebration of the film!

There’s some important fine-print to be aware of with regards to this event.

  • D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three (3) guests.
  • Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.

  • There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members must log in by using their D23 Member account information when reserving tickets.

  • The times and locations for these unique experiences-both on March 23, 2024-are in different locations, and 10 miles from each other. Transportation between these venues is not included for any ticket types for this experience.
  • For those wishing to participate in both with The “Big Easy” Ticket, we encourage you to enjoy the sensational sights, sounds, and flavors of New Orleans at your leisure between these two offerings! From touring the real-life landmarks of the city featured in the film, to sampling some genuine Cajun cooking, there’s so much history and culture to discover. You’ll definitely want to take advantage of the time to prepare for what Tiana has cooking for the grand finale!

  • All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event and will require an event ticket for admission.

  • D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 App.
  • Guests who are age 21+ are required to present valid government-issued photo ID to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Ticketed Members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
