Knott’s Berry Farm is putting the finishing touches on its multimillion dollar transformation of the Knott’s Hotel and we recently had the chance to check out some of the newly refreshed guest areas.
We’ll take a closer look at the hotel rooms later but for now we’ve got a look at some of the public areas including the lobby great room, gift shop, and new dining areas and bar.
The overall design aesthetic for the hotel’s new direction is “upscale farmhouse chic” which is carried through with warm colors, metal accents, and hand-crafted details. The hotels’ 322 guest rooms have been fully revamped along a refreshed courtyard and the hotel’s outdoor spaces.
Among other renovation highlights is the comprehensive redesign of all 20,000 square feet of meeting space, promising cutting-edge technology to position Knott’s Hotel as Orange County’s premier destination for corporate meetings, weddings, special events, and seated dinners for over 300 guests.
The Lobby Great Room
The well-designed space is wide open yet cozy and inviting at the same time. It features a warm farmhouse style yet also feels distinctly modern.
The Berry Place Gift Shop
The Berry Place is the name of the hotel’s gift shop and it features an expected selection of sundries and snacks plus Peanuts plush and gifts, Knott’s Hotel logo merch, and a bunch of different boysenberry-flavored and -colored items.
The Dining and Bar
We had the chance to check out the newly opened Thirty Acres Kitchen restaurant at the Knott’s Hotel. The restaurant is an open concept giving it a modern airy feeling grounded by its warm hewn details. The restaurant is accessible from the Knott’s Hotel lobby and is bridged by a bar which itself is connected to a Starbucks location called The Pantry.
See it for Yourself
Knott’s Hotel remained open through its renovation and is available now. The hotel is expected to reach completion next month.
