Disney+ confirmed today that PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS is getting a second season on the popular streaming platform. Details are sparse so far but the new chapter of the series will be centered in on the book Percy Jacksoon: Sea of Monsters.

Rick Riordan, who penned the book and served as an executive producer on the Disney+ series, was quoted by the Disney+ social media accounts today with the following quote:

“I can’t wait to bring the next season of Percy Jackson to #DisneyPlus! Raise anchors. Hoist the mainsail. All hands on deck, demigods. We’re heading for the Sea of Monsters!”
