Disney finally shed SOME hints as to what’s going on with the re-imagining of Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and it seems the area will be come an area inspired by the “tropical Americas.”

Disney Imagineers are exploring inspiration in some of the most biodiverse areas on the planet in the regions just north and south of the equator in the Western Hemisphere – the northern part of South America, stretching up into Central America.

New experiences that could come about from this expansion include experiences inspired by ENCANTO as well as favorite adventurer Indiana Jones. Disney goes only as far as saying the concepts are “being considered” but the concept art shared gives a peak at how it would come together.
