In a striking image revealed today, Disney Cruise Line unveiled that Peter Pan and Captain Hook will be featured upon the stern of the upcoming ship, the Disney Treasure.
With the help of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, Peter Pan is adding the finishing touch to the ship’s stern filigree, and Captain Hook can be seen leaning out a porthole close by.
The extra pop of Disney magic is a tradition that dates back to Disney’s very first ship — the Disney Magic –which featured a fun representation of Goofy dressed as a painter putting the finishing touches on the logo of the then-first of its kind Disney cruise ship. The tradition continued for every ship in the fleet.

- Disney Wonder features Donald Duck and his nephews on its stern and had its maiden voyage on May 15, 1999.
- Disney Dream features features Sorcerer Mickey on its stern and had its maiden voyage on July 31, 2011.
- Disney Fantasy features Dumbo and Timothy Q. Mouse on its stern and had its maiden voyage on August 30, 2012.
- Disney Wish features Rapunzel and Pascal on its stern and had its maiden voyage on July 14, 2022.
