Today, at Star Wars Celebration in London, AHSOKA got her chance to shine with the reveal of a new poster and teaser trailer for the upcoming original series coming to Disney+ in August 2023. Exciting casting was also confirmed that will be sure to make fans of various Star Wars animated series pretty happy.

AHSOKA follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Rosario Dawson will be joined by Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla. Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer. Kevin Kiner was announced as the series’ composer.
