Taking the #1 spot in theaters this weekend, the 4K High Dynamic Range re-release of AVATAR brought in a $30.5M worldwide haul for its re-opening weekend. As an additional throwback, the film also boasted an overwhelming 93% 3D share — a rarity amongst films these days where 2D formats tend to significantly overperform the 3D option.
