Just in time for the special holiday season, the D23 Holiday Mixer at the Bowers Museum assembled not just a sleigh-full dose of merriment and cheer but also access to the brand new exhibit: All That Glitters: The Crown Jewels of the Walt Disney Archives. In full disclosure, MouseInfo was invited to the party with complimentary passes.
You can see our video recap of the festivities from Instagram below.
About the Event
The event featured fantastical photo-ops that are holiday-card ready plus special appearances by Mickey and Minnie as well as Santa Goofy. Live bell ringers filled the air with holiday sounds and during the event, guests enjoyed cookies and a hot cocoa station with all kinds of fun toppings. The main event was access into All That Glitters: The Crown Jewels of The Walt Disney Archives.
Tickets to this event for Gold and Gold Duo members was $44 (plus $5 processing fee).
Drew from D23 helped keep the night moving along, engaging with those in attendance.
Parting gift included a set of postcards (with the same artwork as the photo backdrops) plus a Figment and Mickey magnet.
