Disney Cruise Line is absolutely knocking it out of the park with their upcoming DISNEY WISH and today we got ANOTHER peek at what to expect on board with the amazing new suite being built in the ship’s forward funnel!
Officially known as the Wish Tower Suite, the first-of-its-kind Disney Cruise Line accommodationwill be one of the most luxe offerings aboard the fancy new ship.
The 1,966-square-foot penthouse will sleep up to eight guests with two main bedrooms, a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The indulgent living room will be flanked by an open dining area, a large pantry and a bar with views across the upper decks through a massive two-story window wall. You might not even want to leave your room!
The theme continues the ships broader mission statement of being inspired by wishes with artwork, iconography and materials inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ MOANA. Creative ornaments and custom artwork will offer sophisticated nods such as custom canvas piece depicting Moana sailing on the sea; dimensional props that celebrate the treasures of the ocean and the local crafts of Moana’s village; a glittering sculpture composed of shiny objects – a playful interpretation of Tamatoa’s dazzling collection; and a sparkling constellation pattern that lights up the ceiling to reveal imagery from the movie composed entirely of stars over the children’s room’s uniquely designed built-in bunkbeds.
When guests enter the suite, they’ll find a hand-crafted porcelain sculpture that comes alive with pulsing in hues of green amid soft chimes evoking the film’s music and reveals itself as the heart of Te Fiti. The special lighting and audio effects slowly fill the room for a pretty astounding one-of-a-kind greeting.
A personal concierge team is standard fare when booking this room and will include a delightful selection of curated services and daily treats, and even a private elevator. Other features set to delight include Frette duvets, bed linens, bath towels and robes; motorized curtains (sheer and block-out); a wet bar stocked with water and sodas; complimentary internet access; and a deluxe menu of hypo-allergenic, feather and therapeutic memory foam pillows.
