After teasing a first-look at the King Arthur Carrousel earlier this year, Disneyland confirmed that the opening day original attraction will done a fresh new canopy with colors harkening back to its opening day.
The newly brightened carrousel will feature sparkling with 14k gold leaf accents, vibrant details, and bold colors. In addition, each steed was hand repainted, and more than 30 colors were used.
Kim Irvine described the updates to the classic attraction in a new video where she highlights details about the shields and heraldry surrounding the carrousel representing the knights of the Round Table and a few more detials.

King Arthur Carrousel reopens at Disneyland Park on April 30, 2021.
Both a theme park reservation and valid admission ticket for the same park on the same date are required for guests ages 3 and up. Reservations opened April 12 for those with existing tickets. Ticket sales resume April 15.
