After sharing intention last October to reopen by February 12 of this year, Disneyland Paris confirmed today that it will not be able to meet that reopening goal. Instead, in a statement released today via Twitter, Disneyland Paris is now  looking towards a reopening date of April 2, 2021.

Disneyland Paris aims to close Oct. 30, reopen for Christmas season, close again Jan. 2021

The original plan announced last fall was peculiar in that they ceased operation of the Resort on October 30, 2020 with the intention to re-open by December 19 only to close once more after the holidays from January 4 – February 12, 2021. Ultimately, the resort never ended up reopening for the Christmas season and has remain closed since October 30 of last year.

The full announcement follows below.

Due to the prevailing conditions in Europe, Disneyland Paris will not reopen on the 13th of February as initially planned.

If conditions permit, we will reopen Disneyland Paris on the 2nd of April 2021 and will welcome reservations from that date forward. Given the current context our plans continue to evolve, but please know that we will make every effort to share with you any updates as soon as it is possible.

Please check back on the website for regular updates. We thank you for your continued loyalty and understanding during this difficult period,
