KITBULL has landed and it’s the third and final (for now) of the new Pixar SparkShorts announced to be coming from the house of the lamp. It brings to life a precious tale of two unlikely friends.
KITBULL was directed by Rosana Sullivan and produced by Kathryn Hendrickson and features an unlikely connection that sparks between two creatures: a fiercely independent stray kitten and a pit bull. Together, they experience friendship for the first time.
KITBULL follows up in what promises to be a strong roster of fresh new short films released on their own merits rather than as pre-cursors to big animated theatrical releases. The PURL was the first one, released earlier this month, and SMASH AND GRAB debuted last week. The Pixar SparkShorts program is intended to discover new storytellers, explore new storytelling techniques, and experiment with new production workflows.
