It’s been a bit since we were able to get into the parks — especially with San Diego Comic-Con last week — and a lot has taken place since our last visit!
For one, we see Pixar Pier continuing to see updates and changes with Jessie’s Critter Carousel and the newly opened Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff. Meanwhile, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge continues to shoot higher still as it speeds along towards its opening next summer.
The Pixar Shorts Film Festival has also updated featuring new shorts (Bao, Sanjay’s Super Team, and La Luna.) Meanwhile, River Belle Terrace quietly started service once more of breakfast and we caught up on a bunch of random bric-a-brac projects that seem to be preparing the park for the chaos next year when the Star Wars chaos begins.
All of that plus Sandianadas, Minnie Wall, Up Wall, the new parking structure and so so so much more in this latest pictorial! Of course, a nice big merch run at the very end. ENJOY!
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff
Another piece of Pixar Pier is has opened up offering hand-made candies, pre-packaged sweets, plus a selection of merch and new Memory Refreshers.
No Bing Bong yet.
The floor is covered in candy.
Rainbows and clouds through-out.
Memory Refreshers are custom slushy drinks. We couldn’t try any because the machines were apparently not working due to the extreme heat.
Handmade treats.
Rainbow Bark.
Shake that laughy taffy.
Rainbow-flavored Cotton Candy.
Inside Out branded sweets.
Flavored popcorn for each emotion.
Pixar Shorts Film Festival Updates

New Parking Structure
The still officially unnamed parking structure has seen huge strides since we peaked in on it last!

The lanai is much more open without the ropes. Quite lovely!
Tropical Hideaway continues along.
Looks like they might be widening the walkway in Adventureland.
They recently removed some of the fencing near Mint Julep Bar. That should help with some of the traffic flow here, as well. Removal of that planter might also help…
As far as increasing capacity, it seems the trains could make significant gains switching to the front-facing seats instead.
