I lost my camera at Disneyland. Motivation has been tough today to get the update going for this week. The photos here are comprised of pictures I took last week before I lost my camera and a few I took today that I had transferred to my phone (before losing the camera).

Disney invited us to to the grand opening celebration for the new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT and we had the opportunity to really soak it all in.

Dance Magic Dance!

Disney Junior Dance Party! debuted this weekend at Disney California Adventure and it brings with it a super high-energy dance party. Forget that passive puppet show that was here before, this new iteration of the Disney Junior melee is a non-stop whirlwind that brings Mickey and Minnie, Princess Sofia, Doc McStuffins, and Timon into all the action.

Trainees, Assemble!

As part of the SUMMER OF HEROES at Disney California Adventure, you can take in a bunch of Superhero-sized entertainment including the fun little Avengers Training Initiative. Think about the Jedi Training Academy in Tomorrowland and you’ll get a sense for what’s going on here.

New Visions Fantastic

There’s not much known–officially, at least–about what’s coming to Disneyland when FANTASMIC! returns this summer (heck, we don’t even have an opening date yet!) but Disney released a few more tidbits that help give a better picture of what to expect when the cherished nighttime spectacular returns.

The media event this past week caused a few changes and shifts in Hollywood Land.

Long waits for the newly-opened Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT. We’ve seen it at various points at anywhere from 75 to 300 minutes!

FastPass is nutty too, 45 minute FASTPASS queue extended into A Bugs Land.

A bunch of travel stickers on the FastPass machines out front of the attraction.

Red Car Trolley is on limited schedule. During the day you might see this tiny one running on the tracks.


Eventually she does come out once crowds are less nutty around the Guardians attraction.

We got an Ultimate Lightning McQueen to review from the folks at Sphero and decided there was no better place to take him for a spin in Cars Land!
