Mother’s Day weekend brought some lovely weather to the Disneyland Resort and also brought crazy big crowds. The runDisney Tinker Bell Half Marathon took place this weekend making it quite a busy time to be at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Disney California Adventure is a hot-bed of excitement as a brand new Cars 3 Exclusive Sneak Peek 4D experience opened. But perhaps more exciting is the new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT attraction which will have its grand opening at the end of the month. Walls came down around the attraction offering some more unobstructed looks at the conversion of the attraction from the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Meanwhile, over at Disneyland the new Star Wars themed land continues to move along bringing to life a galaxy far, far away. As part of the construction, the Frontierland-facing work continues through at breakneck pace to reopen this summer and bring with it several missed attractions including the Disneyland Railroad, Tom Sawyer Island, and the newy-reworked Fantasmic! We also took the opportunity to enjoy the fruity new Jungle Julep at the Adventureland Bengal Barbecue.

We’ll also take the opportunity to provide another merch run with another look at Pirates merch plus colorful new Star Wars tees, plus other fun goodies. All of this and more in our latest pictorial update! ENJOY!
