ANDI MACK a compelling story of self-discovery written by Terri Minsky, the creator of Disney Channel’s hit series “Lizzie McGuire,” will be available on-demand, beginning FRIDAY, MARCH 10 (12:01 a.m. PST), on the Disney Channel App, Video-on-Demand, Disney.com, Disney Channel YouTube, iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. Exclusive access to the second episode will also be available Friday, March 10, via Disney Channel VOD and to verified users of the Disney Channel App.
Made for kids age 6-14 and families, the series makes its television premiere FRIDAY, APRIL 7 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EDT), on Disney Channel.
The series began production this past fall in Salt Lake City, Utah, with 12-year-old newcomer Peyton Elizabeth Lee starring in the title role. The single-camera family series, centers around titular character Andi as she’s about to celebrate her 13th birthday. However, when her capricious older sister Bex returns home with the hope of getting her life together, Andi’s life is turned upside down and she is left questioning everything she’s ever known.
Also starring are Lilan Bowden (“Zombie Apocalypse”) as Andi’s sister Bex, Lauren Tom (“The Joy Luck Club,” “Friends”) as Andi’s mother Celia, Joshua Rush (Disney’s “The Lion Guard”) as Cyrus and Asher Angel (“Jolene”) as Jonah Beck.
ANDI MACK is set to premiere on Disney Channel on April 7th.
