The debut of the rebooted DuckTales inches ever closer and in a new piece of artwork (reminiscent of a previously released DuckTales image) teased this week, we have another look into the quirky comedy and get a first look at Launchpad McQuack’s new look, too! We also get a teaser video that rings out the trademark earworm of a theme from the original show!
The all-new animated comedy series–based on the Emmy Award-winning series–will once again star Scrooge McDuck, grandnephews Huey, Duey, and Louie, and of course, Donald Duck.
DuckTales comes from Executive producer Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), story editor/co-producer Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder), and art director Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls). Season 1 will consist of 21 half-hour episodes and two one-hour specials.
DuckTales arrives on DisneyXD in 2017.
