Marvel’s DOCTOR STRANGE has landed at Disney California Adventure and it comes with a revamp of the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land.

The special sneak preview of Marvel’s newest film is presented in 3D with special in-theater effects and takes advantage of its built-in extras including the use of the theater’s side projection panels to create a more immersive experience at various points in the preview.

Formerly the Muppet-Vision 3D theater and most recently the Arendelle Crown Jewel Theater for the Frozen Sing-Along, the theater location has received a simple theme to its interiors to feel more generic of a movie theater. Posters on the walls promote upcoming films and new posters and signage outside the building further promote the feature at hand.

In the theater’s waiting area, a single display case can be found featuring the Doctor Strange costume worn by Benedict Cumberbatch.

“Doctor Strange” follows the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange who, in his quest for healing after a horrific car accident, discovers powerful magic in a mysterious place known as Kamar-Taj – the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality.

A regular 2D preview for the film also debuts Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the One Man’s Dream attraction.

DOCTOR STRANGE opens theaters in 3D on November 4, 2016!
