Last week we shared a first-listen “peek” at the new song “How Far I’ll Go” song from Disney’s animated MOANA and now Disney has released a peek at the full single version of the song performed by Alessia Cara. The MOANA soudntrack is available now for pre-order.
The movie version of the song that we shared last week was grainy audio picked up from a toy necklace currently available for purchase at Disney Parks. You can hear that clip below.

Earlier this week, Disney also teased a clip of Dwayne Johnson singing the as his character Maui with the song “You’re Welcome.”
The film is set three thousand years ago when the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes MOANA, a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people.
During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
The MOANA SOUNDTRACK is available starting November 18, 2016.
MOANA sails into theaters on November 23, 2016.
