The 2016 San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner and today they announced the Sunday Schedule of Events for July 24, 2016. There’s not much that falls under Disney umbrella but there’s still a few other goings-on that Disney fans might enjoy.

Highlights include Disney Kingdoms: Theme Park Stories with Marvel Comics, R2 Builders: How to Build Your Own R2-D2, and Disney Pin Trading and Collecting: A Whole New Online World

Below are details about some of the events with tangential Disney appeal.

Sunday Schedule of Disney Events

Comic-Con How-To: How to Make a Comic
10:00am – 11:30am, Room 2

With audience participation ideas, Shelley and Patrick Block write and draw a 6-page Disney Donald Duck story before your eyes. This all-ages educational workshop examines the pure creative process of story creation, as well as touching on the format, gags, character quirks and writing structure needed to pull off a concise, funny, and interesting tale for comics.

R2 Builders: How to Build Your Own R2-D2
12:00pm – 1:00pm, Room 30CDE

Get all of the information you need to build your own fully functional droid character from the Star Wars universe. Experienced builders share their knowledge and expertise to make your build a success.

Marvel: Women of Marvel
12:30pm – 1:30pm, Room 6DE

From Ms. Marvel to the A-Force, from Twitter to tumblr, women in comics has been one of the most talked-about topics in comics recently. Join the conversation as women from multiple disciplines in the creative process at Marvel discuss what it’s like working as a woman in comics today and what it means for the future of the industry. Panelists include content development director Sana Amanat, producerJudy Stephens, social media manager Adri Cowan, Marvel Live host Lorraine Cink,writer G. Willow Wilson (Ms. Marvel), Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. costume designerAnn Foley, and others.

Disney Kingdoms: Theme Park Stories with Marvel Comics
1:30pm – 2:30pm, Room 8

The creators of the popular Disney Kingdoms imprint by Marvel discuss what makes this collaborative relationship of theme park storytelling in comic books so much fun. Expect anecdotes on the development of previous titles as well as a glimpse at what is next to come.

Disney Pin Trading and Collecting: A Whole New Online World
3:00pm – 4:00pm, Pacific 24, North Tower, Marriott Marquis & Marina

Lenny Schas (CEO PinPics), Christian Hoff (actor), Holland Hayes (actor), Chris Henning (artist), Terri Trainor (lead programmer), and Sandi Bois (avatar characters) explore the current and exciting future of the next-generation online world of pin trading and collecting.
