There’s still a lot of work to go before the new Star Wars themed land makes its debut at Disneyland in California (and later at Disney’s Hollywood Studios) and while details have been mostly sparse, there’s been a good bit of concept art, details, and information already released that has helped start to shape exactly what the new expansion entails.
MouseInfo contributor VashSky created a massive infographic above (click to view larger) outlining various pieces of concept art, construction imagery, and other info about the new land to create an all encompassing sneak peek at what exactly will be available to guests once that galaxy far, far away makes its debut in Anaheim!
It’s already known that the land will feature two attractions: a trackless adventure featuring a battle between the Resistance and the First Order plus a Millennium Falcon attraction that puts you in complete control once you actually board and pilot the famed vessel yourself. Other details we already know about include the bustling street market with “local delicacies,” a Cantina lounge, and an upscale dinner club that could potentially be a dinner show experience.
The ambitious plans to bring Star Wars to life in both parks entails creating Disney’s largest single themed land expansions ever at 14 acres each. No official launch date has been given yet but rumblings place target opening at Disneyland as soon as late 2018.
The next venture into a Galaxy Far, Far away will be December 2017 for STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII. The standalone spin-off film ROGUE ONE is set to debut in theaters December 16, 2016.
