ZOOTOPIA is an undeniable hit! If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself the favor of seeing it at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA. We were invited to check out the limited engagement which is running now through April 10, 2016.

Every showing at the historic movie palace includes a live pre-show the Wild Animal Encounter Show. During our visit we got to see live on stage a bunny, a fox and even Lola the Sloth who was visiting from the Wildlife Learning Center.

Plus, characters Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from the film make live appearance before the movie starts to do a quick choroeographed number to Shakira’s “TRY EVERYTHING.”

Daily showtimes are 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, available online at elcapitantickets.com or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6.

Check out review to see why we said ZOOTOPIA is exactly the film we need right now, poignant and fun.

BEFORE THE MOVIE

Theater organist Rob Richards brings the theater’s trademark charm courtesy of the mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ.

ZoolaPalooza is the live animal pre-show that brings a few furry friends to the stage.

There’s a few fun facts about the animals that’s shared when they’re brought out and relates them back to the characters in the film.

After the pre-show there’s a quick little number with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde dancing to Shakira’s “Try Everything.”

A photo-op in the theater’s lobby.

ZOOTPIA ANIMATION EXHIBIT

There’s a fun little display of concept art and production artwork for ZOOTOPIA offering a peek at the evolution of the film and its anthromorphized touches.
