Director Kenny Ortega was joined by the leading stars of the Disney Channel hit DESCENDANTS at Disneyland Resort today to celebrate the recent announcement of the film’s upcoming sequel.
Actors Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, and Booboo Stewart thrilled the throngs of fans when they took to the stage at Downtown Disney for some musical performances and some Q&A. The vivacious group also had a quick photo-op at Sleeping Beauty Castle inside Disneyland Park.
In Disney Channel’s DESCENDANTS, which debuted earlier this year, the four teens starred as the children of famous Disney villains including Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella Devil, and Jafar.
The film has the noted distinction of being fifth highest-rated movie of all-time for cable television. It has already spawned several popular merchandise lines, an animated short-form series on Disney Channel, new books, mobile games, and more.
