The dust is settling after news arrives from The Hollywood Reporter that an executive shakeup at the House of Mouse now puts Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and his co-president Louis D’Esposito under watch of Walt Disney Studios chief Alan Horn.
The change comes at the behest of Feige himself who has apparently quite vocally not enjoyed working under Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac “Ike” Perlmutter; an exec known for micromanaging and frugal spending.
Fan favorite executive Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel Television, remains under Perlmutter. Loeb will continue to oversee Marvel television live action (SHIELD and Agent Carter) as well as Marvel animation and other New York-based operations.
