The D23 EXPO was a whirlwind event offering tons of previews ans sneak peeks for upcoming goodies from the Walt Disney Company and one of the smaller panels that we went to with such sneak peeks was the Disney Parks Merchandise panel. Moderated by David Caranci from Walt Disney Imagineering we got a look at the myriad of buyables that will be coming soon to drain our wallets.
Also on the panel was Lisa Baldzicki, Vice President Product Development and Design, Scott Giersch, Director of Specialized Businesses, and Cody Reynolds, Disney Design Group Creative Manager. The polished presentation previewed artwork and looks at upcoming merhandise lines including the following:
- Redesigned Disney Princess logo and new merchandise
- Twenty Eight and Main line of subtle Disney branded merchandise for men
- Disney Boutique offering fun designs for women for everyday use
- Kingdom Couture offering upscale designs for women
- Haunted Mansion merchandise featuring Hatbox Ghost
- Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise featuring the new Mickey shorts versions of the characters
- Star Wars Disney Cruise Line merchandise featuring
- New looks for Aulani
- Preview of upcoming Shanghai Disneyland merchandise
- Anniversary Merchandise:
- Magic Kingdom, 45th Anniversary
- Food and Wine Festival, 20th Anniversary
- Disneyland Paris, 25th Anniversary
- Hong Kong Disneyland, 10th Anniversary
