MouseInfo was invited to check out the newly revamped WonderWalk Hollywood, which now features three separate attractions: Museum of Illusions, Giant House, and Upside Down House. What exactly awaits if you make the trek to La-La-Land for a visit?
Here’s a look at everything you need to know about WonderWalk Hollywood.
What to Expect
Some of the whimsical fun you’ll find at the WonderWalk Hollywood includes the Museum of Illusions, with over 20 hand-painted optical illusion sets; the Giant House, featuring oversized everyday objects perfect for playful photos; and the Upside Down House, where cleverly designed rooms and QR guides help you capture gravity-defying images.
We had a blast as a family checking out all the photo ops in each area and for Disney fans, it’s an easy find: just a block and a half away from the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Dress your selfie-ready best and get ready for LOTS of grid-worthy shots!
Museum of Illusions
Museum of Illusions takes the longest to tour and has over 20 hand-painted optical illusion sets to place yourself in, complete with markers on the ground to make sure your Instagram husband gets the best angle for the illusion. From being held in King Kong’s hand to sitting on the Hollywood sign, we had a blast trying out every single one of them.
Giant House
Giant House surrounds you with oversized items like lipstick, cake, a Starbucks cup, a Coke can, and a bunch more, with fun set ups to get shots of you and your family with these massive props. We were impressed with how well sculpted and painted these items were and they look great in photos!
Upside Down House
Upside Down House takes a little more care to make the most out of, but the reward is worth it. A full walk through house entirely built upside down so that you can get countless shots standing on the ceiling after rotating them in your phone. Each room has a QR code on the wall you can see to see example shots and how to take them, which we found really helpful.

WonderWalk Hollywood (6751 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028) is now open!
Timed entry is available for all three houses — individually or in package tickets. Seeing all three starts at $65 for adults, $45 for children. If you’re going to take the time, you might as well enjoy all three offerings and make a nice day out of it; have some lunch at Hard Rock Café and see a movie at the El Capitan Theatre. A nice family day in Tinseltown!
