Here’s a look at what we got to see at the Lucasfilm pavilion during 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

What to Expect

The Lucasfilm pavilion is back with an exciting array of photo ops, props, and costumes from current and upcoming stories set in a galaxy far, far away. During the course of the weekend, join in for fireside chats (every day at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM) with the filmmaking teams behind some of their favorite Star Wars shows and movies.

Highlights include several costumes and concept art for the upcoming second season of Ahsoka on Disney Plus, some of the Mandalorian and grow group props that were on display at San Diego Comic con, plus more surprises like a full size Rotta the Hutt, a preview at the carbonite yourself experience, and more.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

Mostly a repeat of what we saw at San Diego Comic-Con, we got to see an up close look at a Grogu figure and Mandalorian costume from the new film plus the highlight for many was the Anzellan ship with actually moving Anzellan figures. A giant figure of the character Rotta the Hutt was also on display for photo-ops.

The Mandalorian and Grogu characters were also available at various moments throughout the the day for photos and interactions with fans. Plus, you could get an early peek at the fun Carbonite Freeze Capture that will be coming to the Star Wars Experience exhibition that we first learned about at San Diego Comic-Con.
