The 2026 D23 – The Ultimate Disney Fan Event promises a BUNCH of panels, presentations, and opportunities for fan discovery and a good way to maximize your time is with the Reservation Random Selection Process (or “Reservation RSP” for short.)

Here’s a a look at everything you need to know about Reservation RSP for 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) taking place from August 14 – 16, 2026.

What to Expect

At its simplest, the D23 Reservation RSP basically allows guests to make reservation requests for select panels, presentations, talent signings and show floor experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center in advance of the event.

The Reservation RSP essentially holds your place in line like a Lightning Lane until it’s time to head to the venue for your selection.

When it Starts

• The Reservation RSP entry period for ALL event days for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event opens Monday, July 20, 2026, at 12 p.m. PT, and conclude on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 12 p.m. PT.
• The link to Reservation RSP entry page will be made available by Disney through the official event site.
• You can return to the Reservation RSP page as often as you would like to review and modify your reservation selections before the entry period closes.

Making Selections

• Timing: The Reservation RSP is not first come, first served and there is no priority provided to entries based on the date and time they are submitted. As long as all entries are received within the entry period, you have equal chance as all other D23 Members who are submitting.
• How Many: Guests may rank their choices and request reservations for groups of up to six people for most offerings.
• Distribution: Reservations will be randomly distributed based on preferences and availability, and starting on August 7, reservations will be assigned and then communicated to you via email if you have any confirmed selections.

Know Before You Go

General

• Reservation RSP is NOT required for admission to any event offering. Guests who are not assigned reservations have the opportunity to utilize standby queues for most Anaheim Convention Center panels and experiences.
• Reservations are for the Anaheim Convention Center Event Stages, Talent Central, and most Show Floor Experiences only.
• Shows at the Honda Center are for D23 Ultimate Fan Pass ticket holders only. There are no reservations or stand-by queues available for the Honda Center.

Getting Reservations

• Reservations are NOT guaranteed and will be randomly distributed based on preferences and availability.
• Of course, all reservations are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

During the Event

• If you have a Reservation RSP but do not arrive at the location by the time specified prior to your reservation, your place may be forfeited and filled by a standby guest.

Making Reservation Selections

• A valid D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event adult badge is required to check in for a reservation.
  • If you are picking up your badge(s) at will call, you can still participate in the Reservation RSP with your D23 Member login associated with your badge(s).
  • Children under the age of 18 are unable to make reservations but can accompany an adult with reservations as one of their additional guest(s).
• The more selections you make, the better your chances may be of receiving at least one reservation.
• Guests may only be assigned one reservation during a time slot.
