DreamWorks is ready to unleash a world of MINIONS & MONSTERS and the 2026 Universal Mega Movie Summer event is ready to scare up some fresh fun at Universal Studios Hollywood to celebrate. Aside from the the permanent offerings already in the park, there’s going to be a new Minion Dance Party, characters to meet, plus new shopping and dining options.

Here’s everything you need to know about MINIONS & MONSTERS fun during 2026 Universal Mega Movie Summer at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Entertainment

Burn off some extra energy with an energetic Minion Dance Party or snap pics with new and returning favorite friends from the Minions franchise.

New Characters

Henry and James are two new Minion friends that will be making appearances near Silly Fun Land. They join in the rotation with typical appearance times of  10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM. Plus, Stuart, Bob, and other Minions friends may appear at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM. As always, character appearance times may vary, always check the official Universal app on the day of your visit for the latest information

Treats celebrating the iconic yellow fellows and their adventures in the new film can be round around the property including a new entree and dessert at Minion Cafe and other sweets at Despicable Delights and at Voodoo Doughnut in CityWalk.
