The USH Pass Member Park Takeover, presented by Coca-Cola, returned for the 2026 summer season with extra fun for eligible Pass Members with reservations at Universal Studios Hollywood. As in previous years, the event offered a laid back fun time in the park with lower-than-usual crowds and a few special surprises. We had the chance to visit on June 3, 2026.

What to Expect

This year’s Pass Member Park Takeover at Universal Studios Hollywood took place on June 3, 2026, running from 8 PM – 12 AM. Only Pass Members with a valid pass and event reservation were allowed to attend and they were allowed to do so even if their pass level was otherwise blocked out for the day.

There was no added cost to attend the event although parking was not included unless you already had that entitlement with your annual pass. A dedicated Pass Member Special Event turnstile was located at the Front Gate for entry and to receive the event credential. Credentials could also be picked up from inside the park at the main entrance. Re-entry was NOT allowed so if you exited the park, you were not able to get back in after the regular park hours had ended.

Attractions

  • Coca-Cola Zone outdoor area featured DJs, beverage sampling, lounge spaces, themed games, and more
  • Most regular attractions were available throughout the night
    • World-Famous Studio Tour closed early with last tram departing at 9:15 PM
    • Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge closed at 10:15 PM

Entertainment

  • Many characters normally seen during the day were meeting and greeting with guests (and dancing in Universal Plaza)
  • Hogwarts projection shows in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter also took place several times over the course of the night

All levels of members including Platinum, Gold Annual Pass, Silver Annual Pass, and Season Pass Members will receive a special limited-time increased discount. As always, subject to change and restrictions apply.
