If you’ve got your tickets for 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event but want to transfer badges to your friends and family so that they can handle their admission and reservations on their own, then you will be able do this between between April 6, 10am PT and July 10, 8:59pm PT. As with the 2024 event, badges can only be transferred to valid D23 accounts but they DO NOT have to be Gold Member level. It was only required to be a Gold Member to purchase tickets this year.

Here’s the latest information to know about badge/ticket transfers for 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (formerly D23 Expo) coming to Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center from August 14 – 16, 2026.

Why Transfer?

If it’s more convenient for your group to stay tied together to a single D23 account then there is no need to transfer. However, once Disney initiates the Random Selection Process (RSP) for various event programming and panels, you’ll greatly increase your chances of getting into preferred programming if each person in your party has their badge tied to a unique D23 account.

If the badges remain un-transferred then only the account used to buy those tickets will be able to participate in the RSP. That also means everyone in the entire party will only be able to sign up for RSP selections on that one account and everyone will have to go to the same programming offerings.

When to Transfer

D23 will provide an official opportunity to transfer tickets to other guests between April 6, 10am PT and July 10, 8:59pm PT.

How to Transfer

The official and ONLY ticket transfer website is: https://tickets.d23.com/my-tickets/login. This is the only ticket service that is able to authenticate valid tickets for 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Other resellers may offer money-back guarantees, but they are unable to fully guarantee entry to the Event as they are not able to validate that a ticket or seat location is authentic.

  • Login to the above D23 website by sing the same D23 Member account used for purchase and select “View and Transfer Badges.”
    • If you purchased a D23 Ultimate Fan Pass, you will see two events in your account. The event labeled “Anaheim Convention Center” contains your transferable D23 Fan Pass. The event labeled “Honda Center” contains your Honda Center ticket, which will be digitally distributed to ticket purchasers starting August 5, 2026.
  • Select Transfer Badges to initiate the transfer process.
    • The badge assigned to the ticket purchaser is non-transferable and must remain with the D23 Gold Member who purchased the tickets.
    • Badge purchasers are required to enter an email of the individual they are assigning a badge to, and this email will need to be associated with a D23 Member account. They do NOT have to be Gold Member accounts.
    • Any guest age 18 and older is eligible to sign up for a D23 General Membership. Guests under age 18 do not require a D23 Membership to be assigned a badge.
  • The person receiving the badge must sign in with their D23 Member account and accept the badge through the same link above.
    • If needed, a ticket purchaser has the ability to cancel a badge transfer before the badge has been accepted by the transfer recipient.
  • After a badge has been accepted by a recipient, the recipient has full ownership of the badge and is responsible for any future transfers.

Badge Shipping

  • All Anaheim Convention Center badges will be shipped on July 13 to the original ticket purchaser’s address, even after digitally transferred to another guest.
  • The original ticket purchaser is responsible for physically distributing badges to their party.

Important Transfer Dates

  • 4/6, 10 a.m. PT – Badge transfer opens.
  • 6/24, 8:59 p.m. PT – Last day to update your mailing address.
  • 7/10, 8:59 p.m. PT – Last day to transfer your additional guest badges to family and friends.
  • 7/13 – Anaheim Convention Center badges mailed to ticket purchasers
