You don’t just feel like you’re stepping into Stars Hollow, Connecticut — you literally ARE stepping into the iconic town when you visit Holidays Made Here for the 2025 season at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and we’ve got you covered with a full look at the iconic photo-ops and points of interest to enjoy while you’re there. Celebrating 25 years of the iconic series, the winter wonderland is inspired by the Gilmore Girls and set up in the backlot areas where many iconic moments from the show were filmed.
Here’s a look at what you need to know about the Gilmore Girls related photo-ops and iconic points of interest during the 2025 Holidays Made Here season at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.
The Gazebo
Centrally pivotal to iconic moments from the show, the gazebo still exists in Warner Bros. Midwest Street backlot surrounded by a park which is an offshoot to several locations in Stars Hollow. You can snap photos at the gazebo which has been dressed up for the holidays including a dusting of screen-ready faux-snow and the Björk snow figure not too far away.
- PRO TIP: A Warner Bros. photographer is on hand to take official photographs only. They will not be able to handle your devices but if you have someone with you (or make a friend in line) you can ask them.
Luke’s Diner
Take a photo with the eatery’s iconic sign then step inside to the recreation of the diner just like it looked in the show. The location features exclusive blends from Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee and breakfast pastries served all day.
- PRO TIP: A standby queue is available but if you arrive early enough in the day, you can scan a QR code at the location to sign up for a virtual return time. Alternatively, you can use the website here for Luke’s Diner virtual queue reservations, the queue opens at 11am.
Lorelai’s House
While the interiors of Lorelai’s house were filmed on soundstages, the exterior is right on Midwest Street. Step from the front lawn into the front doors of the memorable home and see a few set recreations of the home’s living room as well as Rory’s bedroom. While the interiors were actually filmed on soundstages, the decor really helps set the scene to feel like you’ve stepped into the show.
- PRO TIP: A standby queue is available but if you arrive early enough in the day, you can scan a QR code at the location to sign up for a virtual return time.
- Alternatively, you can use the website here for Lorelai’s House virtual queue reservations, the queue opens at 11am.
Sookie’s House
Bonus house! The backside of Lorelai’s House is actually the front-side of Lorelai’s house! Clever photography (and the fact that the interiors were filmed in soundstages) paint a convincing picture on-screen that these are two completely separate locations. You can’t technically step into Sookie’s House because it’s all decorated for this event to be the interior of Lorelai’s house. But you CAN decorate cookies for free on the lawn at Sookie’s!
Gilmore Estate
Step into this little recreation of the iconic dining room at Emily and Richard’s home, complete with the imposing family portraits. You might even spot the new maid and ask her what’s on the menu for Friday night dinner!
Kim’s Antiques
Explore a maze of antiques (fresh from the Warner Bros property warehouse), and keep an ear out for Mrs. Kim! Remember: if you break it, you buy it!
Dragonfly Inn
Several of the settings within the iconic lodging from the show were filmed on soundstages but Warner Bros has re-created several memorable sets from the show including the lobby, stairwell and dining area.
Independence Inn
The actual exterior for the Independence Inn was filmed on location in Canada but a small sign and some clever cropping make for some charming photos that look screen-ready on this backlot facade.
Doose’s Market
Step into the local grocer shop, faithfully recreated to look as it did in the show. Walk the aisles which feature a recreation of a small-town grocery store but also find actual items available for purchase.
Taylor’s Olde Fashioned Soda Shoppe
Step into a different time with the vintage charm of this iconic parlor serving up ice cream treats including banana splits.
Hewe’s Bros. Gas
See if Gypsy is around or you can fuel up for a day on the town with a menu full of American classics that will keep you full.
