It can’t be a Disney fan event without a bunch of announcements from the division that started it all and Destination D23 2025 did not disappoint with updates from the Walt Disney Studios on several upcoming titles as well as the reveal of an all-new animated feature called HEXED.

Hexed
- HEXED opens in theaters November 2026.
- Jared Bush, chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, revealed the title and some project details for a brand-new animated film
- In HEXED, an awkward teenage boy and his Type-A mom discover that what makes him unusual might be magical powers that will turn their lives and a secret world of magic upside down.

Zootopia 2
- ZOOTOPIA 2 is coming to theaters November 26, 2025.

- Yvette Nicole Brown joins in two cameos as The Bearoness and EMT Otter
- Patrick Warburton appeared onstage to reveal he voices Mayor Winddancer; multiple exclusive clips were shown
- Characters Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Clawhauser also appeared onstage.
- In ZOOTOPIA 2, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde pursue a twisting mystery after Gary De’Snake arrives and turns Zootopia upside down; their undercover work in new parts of town tests their partnership.

Hoppers
- HOPPERS is coming to theaters March 6, 2026.
- Special sneak preview presented by director Daniel Chong and producer Nicole Paradis Grindle, with onstage appearances by Piper Curda (voice of Mabel) and Bobby Moynihan (voice of King George); three exclusive clips shown.
- The action comedy follows Mabel, a nature-loving college student trying to bring animals back to a beloved glade while the mayor plans a highway; new technology lets her hop into a robotic beaver, leading to wild surprises.

Toy Story
- TOY STORY returns to theaters beginning September 12, 2025.
- The 30th anniversary theatrical re-release confirmed; tickets on sale Tuesday, September 2, 2025; Buzz Lightyear balloon returns to the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a new design, first Manhattan flight since 2013.

Toy Story 5
- TOY STORY 5 is coming to theaters June 19, 2026.
- Pixar unveiled a sneak peek; first look at Smarty Pants voiced by Conan O’Brien; the opening three minutes were screened.

- TRON: ARES is coming to theaters October 10, 2025.
