Here’s a closer look at So Much That We Share: A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers for the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration.

Located at the Main Street Cinema, the Mickey shorts have taken a break to commemorate “So Much That We Share: A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers” featuring heartwarming three-and-a-half-minute film titled “The Last Verse”.

The short film, which we first got to see at D23 last year, celebrates the timeless connection and hope behind the Sherman brothers’ iconic song, “It’s A Small World.” Originally created to commemorate song’s 60th anniversary, it now gets new life for the Disneyland 70th celebration including the new verse written by late legendary composer Richard M. Sherman. His final Disney contribution adds a third and final verse to the beloved song which can also now be heard in the finale scene of the “it’s a small world” attraction in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. As we shared last year, it’s fitting then that this final message that he added to the song lives on forever, carrying the banner of hopes and aspirations for peace.
