Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga is a stunning projection effects show in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland which transforms the spires of Batuu into a canvas for the legendary story of the Skywalker saga. Iconic visuals appear telling the story from the original Star Wars films with gorgeous graphics and the iconic music.

About the Show

Gather near the Millennium Falcon to embark on a storytelling adventure with an R1 droid named Bard who recalls from his memory banks the stories told by his former companion, the late Tohan Lege. Stunning projection effects transform the iconic peaks of the Black Spire Outpost with visual memories of some of the greatest moments in galactic history along with an iconic musical score.

This presentation is NOT a firework show and is separate from Fire of the Rising Moons which takes place during the evening’s regularly-scheduled fireworks presentations.

How to Watch

Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker runs approximately 11 minutes and can be seen in the space immediately in front of the Millennium Falcon, just be sure to look out for taped off segments that are used as walkways to get to the attraction. Extremely limited number of seats are available on the patio just outside of Docking Bay 7 with a great view of the show although some eager fans will arrive an hour or more before showtime to secure these few coveted spots.

Typical showtimes are 8:45 PM and 10:15 PM. As always, showtimes are subject to change so be sure to check the official Disneyland app on the day of your visit for the latest information.

Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga is now playing at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. It is expected to continue on past the end of the Disneyland Season of the Force marketing campaign. The show was confirmed for the location at Disneyland Resort and, for now, does not appear to be coming to the location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars Season of the Force takes place at the Disneyland Resort from March 28 through May 11, 2025.
