Disneyland is preparing to kick off 2025 with a few special perks for Magic Key holders. For the month of January (and a little beyond) there are a few special options that include the return of the popular refillable popcorn buckets (with a Stitch design this year) plus limited-time offerings including 50% off Lightning Lane, character greet photo ops, pin giveaways, Magic Shots and more!

Here’s everything you need to know about early 2025 perks for Magic Key holders at the Disneyland Resort.

What to Expect

Magic Key holders can take advantage of a few new perks in January 2025.

Refillable Magic Key Stitch Popcorn Bucket

  • WHERE: Participating popcorn carts at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure
  • WHEN: January 8 – February 19, 2025, during park operating hours (and while supplies last)
  • WHAT: The new Magic Key Stitch popcorn bucket will allow ($2 refills from January 8 – February 19, 2025)

Souvenir Pin Giveaway and Character Greets

  • WHERE: Starcade in Tomorrowland
  • WHEN: January 7 – January 13, 2025 — from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • WHAT: Special character encounters plus themed photos. Plus, while supplies last, a special souvenir pin and lanyard set.

50% Off Lightning Lane

  • WHERE: At both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure
  • WHEN: From January 6 through January 31, 2025
  • WHAT: Magic Key holders can enjoy double their regular discount on the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass (subject to limited availability) on days when they use their Magic Key pass for park admission

Magic Key Exclusive Magic Shot

  • WHERE:
    • Walkway from Tomorrowland to Matterhorn Way, across from Pixie Hollow
  • WHEN:
    • January 8 – January 31, 2025
    • Monday-Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm (not available during Disneyland After Dark events)
    • Fridays through Sundays from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again from 10;00 pm to park close.
  • WHAT:
    • Magic Key exclusive Magic Shot with digital firework design elements added to celebrate the new year
