Combining the concept of the popular shoulder pals that have been on sale for years, these little cuties go a step further adding a glowing light and by making them interactive… with each other!

About the Fireflies

First released at Walt Disney World earlier this year for the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at the Magic Kingdom, the Interactive Wearable Light-Up Firefly is a fun collectible to celebrate the attraction. They cost $31.99 and there’s few different features that really make this a strong contender for your Disney dollars.

  • A 2-in-1 gift! In its lantern, the firefly is a warm glowing nightlight for the home. Out of the lantern, the Firefly becomes an interactive shoulder pal.
    • Nightlight: The glowing Firefly comes in a jar with a glowing lily pad and water lily that fill the space with a warm light when you plug it in.
    • Shoulder Pal: A small magnetic lily pad is included which you can use to secure the firefly magnetically onto your shoulder.
  • 20241115_092128Interactive: The Firefly wings can be lifted to reveal an on-off switch which controls its glow. There is also a small button on its back that can be used to trigger its interactions with other nearby Firefly toys.
  • Buzz Buzz! When you press the interaction button on the back, the Firefly makes a cute little buzzing noise.
  • Re-chargeable internal battery: The Firefly connects to a USB Type-C cable inside of the jar. The jar also has as USB Type-C input that can be used to light up the jar and charge the Firefly. There is on-off switch on both the Firefly and jar so that they can be turned off independently.
