It’s been an exciting few months of announcements sand reveals and now we have confirmation that Universal’s Epic Universe will officially open up its gates — and its portals — starting May 22, 2025. The new park promises 5 epic themed worlds with more than 50 attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences and a beautiful new destination hotel.

About the Park

The park is split up into five distinct areas with four portals leading into insanely immersive new lands. Celestial Park is the heart of the park with its own set of attractions, shopping, and dining set amongst lush gardens and waterways, with a mythological and astronomical aesthetic.

As guests explore, they’ll encounter separate portal worlds including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic blends 1920s Paris from Fantastic Beasts with the British Ministry of Magic; SUPER NINTENDO WORLD brings the worlds of Mario, Luigi, and others to life through interactive play; How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk offers Viking adventures with dragons; and Dark Universe explores a mysterious world of monsters and Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments.

Celestial Park

Universal Helios Grand Hotel

Located at the end of Celestial Park is Universal Helios Grand Hotel which is designed to transport guests to a world where the heavens and earth unite – complete with 500 rooms, one-of-a-kind views and its very own dedicated entrance into the theme park.

Getting Tickets

Starting October 22, 2024, portals begin to open for the purchase of tickets and vacation packages to visit Universal’s Epic Universe theme park. Ready to start admitting guests starting May 22, 2025, the new park is expected to be very popular and there are several options (and restrictions in place.
