Universal Studios Hollywood is ready for a new slate of terror for the 2024 haunt season with the return of Halloween Horror Nights. The event features 8 haunted house mazes, the Terror Tram experience, 4 scare zones, 2 shows and a host of dining and shopping opportunities.

House Rankings

The horror this year include Insidious: The Further, Dead Exposure: Death Valley, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface, A Quiet Place, The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy, Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America, Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines.

Scare Zones
A small selection of scare zones are included this year including Chainsaw Punkz at the park main entrance with a troop of chainsaw killers who confront guests as they enter the event; Skull Lordz on New York Street with a gothic inspired royal court of the dead; Luchadores Monstruosos continuing the theme of the adjacent Monsters of Latin America maze; and Murder of Crowz near the Wizarding World entrance with a flock of menacing crow stilt-walkers will terrify guests.

The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy Bar where you’ll find flatbreads and themed cocktails with light-up garnishes. Chucky’s Dive Bar offers spicy, fruity cocktails with playful garnishes. City Snacks featuring “A Quiet Place” serves a chocolate éclair and shrimp corn chowder. Dia de Los Muertos features Mexican street food like nachos and birria tacos. Monster Eats offers fish ‘n chips, spicy corn dogs, and cheesecake. Leatherface’s BBQ serves BBQ brisket, ribs, chili dogs, and cocktails.

Types of Admission
There are several ways to get into the event with various levels of amenities and perks. Here’s a rundown of what’s being offered:
- General Admission: general admission ticket to Halloween Horror Nights
- Universal Express: One-time (per day) express access to each participating haunted house, ride and attraction. Does not include early event access. 🍄
- Universal Express Unlimited: Unlimited express access (per day) to each participating haunted house, ride and attraction. Does not include early event access.🍄
- Frequent Fear Pass: Experience up to 33 nights (based on your selected first visit date during purchase) of General Admission to this year’s event. Valid on select nights only; blackout dates apply. Does not include early event access.
- Ultimate Fear Pass: Experience the scares over and over for up to all event nights (based on selected first visit date during purchase). No blackout dates on return visits. Does not include early event access.
- After 2 PM Day/Night: Daytime General Admission to the Theme Park after 2:00 p.m. and same day evening General Admission to Halloween Horror Nights.🍄
- Early Access Ticket: Early access, beginning at 5:30 p.m.(subject to change) to select haunted houses prior to event opening. A Halloween Horror Nights admission ticket must be purchased separately.
