About the Show

Halloween Screams at Disneyland is a signature nighttime spectacular that returns for Halloween Time each year, offering a spooky celebration of Disney villains and other eerie delights. The show features projections, music, and special effects every night, with fireworks added on weekends. Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas serves as the master of “scare”-emonies, while his ghostly dog, Zero, flies across the sky twice during the presentation.

The show can be viewed from various locations in the park, including Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, Rivers of America, and “it’s a small world”. For the popular spots in front of the Castle or on Main Street, you’ll want to arrive at least two hours before showtime. Halloween is a very popular time at Disneyland so the longer you give yourself the better if you’re trying to score an ideal spot.

Halloween Screams takes place nightly during Halloween Time but typically only has fireworks on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Check the Disneyland app for the latest information.
