Bring it in, bring it in! We just learned at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that ENCANTO is officially getting a Disney Parks attraction and it’s coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! You will soon be able literally step INTO Casita Madrigal for a magical adventure with everyone in the familia!
Here’s everything we learned at the Disney Experiences Showcase at the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
The showcase for Disney Experiences at the Honda Center was hosted Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences (AKA head of Parks and Resorts) who shared that the new Encanto Casita attraction will be coming to the new 11-acre Pueblo Esperanza land replacing Dinoland USA.
- Let’s go! The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction will feature the Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
- Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest.
- It’s time to go explore alongside Antonio, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into…
Construction on the land is set to begin this fall and will open in 2027. A closing date for Dinoland USA and its existing offerings has not yet been announced.
